With delicious watermelon by the slice, barbecue for the truly ravenous, a demolition derby, dancing, games and many other activities taking place, head to Clyde KS this Labor Day weekend!

Hannah is now a teenager and a 4th year quilter! This year she won a Reserve Grand Champion in Fiber Arts at the Smith County Fair for her Choose to Be Block-of-the-Month quilt. Way to go, Hannah!

I was thrilled when I found out about and tried Deb Tucker's Wing Clipper I ruler.
Wing Clipper Geese are made slightly larger, and then trimmed down, which result in perfect flying geese!
Imagine making 4 Flying Geese at one time ~ and perfect ones at that!
