WUMC will be hosting an appreciation luncheon for all of the staff at Waterville Primary School on Tuesday, May 28. 

You can help by offering to provide food, water or paper products. The signup sheet is on the table in the Gathering Space.

Pray on the Way

The church will be open to members and the public for prayer, meditation and praise. Soft music and prayer suggestion sheets will be provided. No spoken message will be shared. Pray on the Way will occur the last Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30pm.

Come for five minutes or the whole hour. God will be listening.

WUMC Chair Yoga & Light Weight Strength Class for Seniors

If you’re looking for an opportunity to increase your flexibility and range of motion, change up your routine, or just get some additional mental clarity, this is the class for you!

Join us on Wednesdays at 2:00pm

The cost is $12 per month or $3 per session.

Missions Committee Focus for May:

The Daughter Project

The Daughter Project, our May mission focus, is a Christian non-profit organization that runs a group home for sex-trafficking victims , ages 10-17, in one of the largest human trafficking hubs in the county, Toledo. Founded in 2009 for Jeff Wilbarger, originally a math teacher, the Daughter Project seeks to heal victims by loving them as Christ loves them. Jeff is motivated by his faith and continues to offer hope and restoration to both children and adults wounded by this evil. There is now an adult women's section called Rahab's Heart where survivors are helped with housing, transportation, clothes, and jobs. Christian beliefs guide everything at both the Daughter Project and Rahab's Heart. This crime against humanity has more victims than is even imaginable, and our congregation now has the privilege of helping women and children whose lives have been assaulted . Lives should never be " for sale." 

We will still be collecting donation items for the Welcoming Baskets for Migrants until

May 18th. If you are still interested in donating items from the list, please make sure they are dropped off to the church by then.
