LPEA’s Emissions Goals and What to Expect During our Transition
We are proud of the progress we are making towards meeting and potentially exceeding the emissions goals we set for ourselves and the requirements enacted by the Colorado Clean Energy Plan (CEP).
We closed our RFP period on June 1 and have since been reviewing the more than 70 submissions representing over 3,600 Megawatts of power. We're excited for the possibilities and look forward to sharing an update soon!

We were excited to host the community in our new BE Lobby in Durango on Tuesday. We love the opportunity to address our members' questions and concerns face-to-face.
Our Round Up Foundation was able to award $89,890 in grant funding during the first half of 2025, thanks to the members who round up their bill every month,
We started work on an important and exciting capital improvement project on the cliffs at Silverpick, thanks to a little much-needed help from a helicopter.
