Message from Deacon

The Church dedicates the month of March to St. Joseph. This tradition invites us to reflect on this great saint's faith, humility, obedience and unselfish love. He is an excellent model for us as we navigate our spiritual journey, especially during this Season of Lent.

Pope Francis’ Prayer to Saint Joseph

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

To you God entrusted His only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the
path of life.

Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen.

(Composed by Pope Francis in Patris Corde.)

Volunteer of the Month: February

Congratulations to our February Volunteer of the Month, Katie Graff! For the past two years, Katie has found a meaningful way to give back to the community that played such an important role in her Catholic upbringing. As a leader with St. Agatha's PSR program, she has been instrumental in guiding the 8th grade class as they prepare for their upcoming confirmation. Her commitment includes weekly classes and preparation sessions, as well as helping to lead a retreat this past month.

In addition to her work with PSR, Katie has embraced a special role with the after-school program with Run the Race. What first inspired her was the opportunity to help an 8-year-old student who was still struggling to read basic words. Since then, Katie has continued tutoring students, assisting with arts and crafts projects and even sharing in the occasional dinner with the racers. Katie was a strong advocate for including Run the Race in our Polar Express Christmas Breakfast and served as a liaison to ensure the children could fully participate.

We are so grateful for Katie’s dedication, compassion, and servant heart. Thank you, Katie, for the many ways you make a difference in our community!
