Meet the Teacher TONIGHT

We hope you can join us tonight! We are having just one Meet the Teacher night this year. Plan enough time to park and walk to your child’s homeroom. Start in your child's homeroom at 7:00 p.m. where you will receive your child's schedule. After homeroom follow the schedule to meet the teachers. The evening finishes around 8:30 p.m.

Yard Signs & Magnets Available at Meet the Teacher

Show your Eagle pride by placing one of our (free) signs in your front yard! Signs will be available to pick up at Meet the Teacher tonight.

Student Ambassadors will also be selling these magnets for your car or fridge! Cost is $5.00/cash only.

Senior Vaccine Proof Due TODAY

All seniors should have gotten a 2^nd dose of the meningococcal vaccine after the age of 16. You can email proof of this at tfriend@bwhs.org or have your doctor’s office fax a copy to (614) 268-0551. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

The date for our 2025 Legends Golf Classic will be coming soon.

PSAT/NMSQT Set for October 2

Sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 2. Students must be in their assigned rooms by 7:45 a.m. Students who are late may not be permitted in the room to take the exam and this will be counted as an unexcused absence.

Room assignments will be sent to the students' bwhs.org emails along with information pertinent to test day. Freshmen and seniors have this day off from school.

Students will be dismissed between 10:45 to 11:00 a.m. Busing information is forthcoming. Students who have extended time accommodations will finish between 11:40 a.m. to Noon and will need to arrange for a ride home.

This Week

School counselors are visiting junior classrooms this week with a college kickoff session and an opportunity for the grades 11-12 counselors to get to know the juniors.

Counselors are starting a series for freshman focused on learning strengths and identifying and processing feelings.

Parents Are Invited to Join Us

One of the efforts to nurture and encourage the spiritual life of our students here at Bishop Watterson is weekly exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Each week, a grade is assigned to spend some time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament during Theology class. On Wednesdays, we expose the Blessed Sacrament at 7:30 a.m. and remain in prayer until Benediction at 1:30 p.m. We would like to invite parents to join us. Eucharistic Adoration will be held in Dominican Hall until the chapel expansion and renovation is completed this fall.

If you have completed the “Protecting God’s Children” requirements of the Diocese and are interested in joining us for prayer, please click on the button below to sign-up for a particular Holy Hour.

Paris Trip
