Class of 2024

Welcome! The Watterson Wednesday News is our weekly communication with parents. We hope you will find this newsletter helpful as you prepare for the 2020-21 school year!
40 Days for Life Begins Today

40 Days for Life begins on Ash Wednesday, February 26 and ends on Palm Sunday, April 5. We will be praying in front of Planned Parenthood, located at 3255 E. Main St., on Sunday, March 8 and Sunday, March 29 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on both days. The clinic is closed on Sundays. Parking is available on the side street just east of the center.
Please join us for a peaceful, prayerful and meaningful experience! Even if it's for 15 minutes, come out and show your support for the most vulnerable members of the human family: the unborn. Bring a friend and bring a rosary.

Blue Dress Down Day

Friday March 6
$3 Donation to Paso a Paso Club
Did you know in Guatemala attending school is mandatory only through the 6th grade? At this age, many children have no choice but to start working in order to help support their families. They often end up working in dangerous conditions for little money. Last year Paso a Paso Club raised $2500 to fund one year of private education for a Guatemalan student, and our goal is to raise that same amount again. This includes the cost of tuition, but also helps to support the child's family so they are not missing out on the income he or she could be earning through work.
Students who would like to support the Paso a Paso Club’s effort can bring $3 donation to homeroom on Wednesday March 4. Then on Friday, March 6 they can wear blue (the main color of Guatemala’s flag) to support continuing education and a brighter future for the youth of Guatemala!
