Season of Giving begins

AP Exam Payments Due

November 23

Open House

Parents,

The month of November is traditionally a time in which the Church remembers those who have died. Catholics are encouraged to offer prayers, Masses, and acts of charity for the departed throughout the month to help them on their journey to heaven.

This week we will kick off our Season of Giving, assisting the less fortunate through Holy Family Soup Kitchen and the St. Francis Center in McArthur, Ohio. These collections are opportunities for your children to give with the intention of your family's departed loved ones.

Deacon Chris Campbell

Principal

Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Juliana Brown ’26, Bishop Watterson Volunteer of the Month for October! In seventh grade, Juliana and her mom were visiting Audino’s bakery and noticed a building next door with a beautiful mural. They learned the building belonged to NNEMAP, a food pantry and emergency material assistance program. Juliana and her mom got in the habit of bringing bread to the food pantry and it has turned into a regular five-year service opportunity. Juliana continues to volunteer weekly at NNEMAP and this holiday season is helping co-chair the upcoming Christmas Shop. Encouraged by her experiences with NNEMAP, Juliana wanted to find more opportunities to serve her community. This has led to time spent at the Worthington Food Pantry, the Huckleberry House and, her second-favorite site, the Columbus Humane Society! Juliana began serving at the Columbus Humane Society in January 2025 and commits twice a week to working with some of the sweetest pups in Central Ohio. She looks for the chance to take the often-neglected pit bulls for a walk. Juliana has recorded more than 300 hours of service during her time at Bishop Watterson and just this past month alone recorded more than 54 volunteer hours. Juliana, your actions beautifully demonstrate the love of Christ through service – thank you!
