Scripture
"Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested."
Hebrews 2:17-18 NLV

Prayer Focus
While many are still cleaning up from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, we now have Hurricane Maria hitting more islands in the Caribbean, including U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Wildfires continue in the West.
Prayers for all those assisting and affected by these tragic events.

Readiness 360 Survey
If you have not completed the Readiness 360 Survey, please do! Your thoughts are important!
Our congregation is taking seriously its call to multiply our ministry and reach new people. To that end, we are asking you to take an online survey call
Readiness 360.
The Readiness 360 survey will help us identify our strengths as a congregation, as well as reveal opportunities for improving our ministries, together. We will do this by assessing many areas of our shared discipleship as a congregation. After we have had a chance to participate in the survey, we will report back our findings and discover our "next steps" together.
Please click here:
http://app.readiness360.org/survey/login to log in and type in our congregation's survey code: 9004133969. Set aside 20 minutes to take the survey between now and September 24 at midnight.
If you need help, please contact: Cyndi Craigmile, [email protected], or at 987-4531.

Mom Squad Retreat

Mini Retreat
Saturday, September 30 at 10 am
.
Moms were never meant to be Lone Rangers, doing life alone. Instead, we need a community of other moms who understand super feats like leaping over piles of laundry, tackling all-night science projects, and living to tell the stories of pre-teen slumber parties. Moms need encouragement, support, and friendship, and that's what this event is all about-developing a mom-squad of faith, friendship and fun. RSVP at
