For example, Celebrity offers its biggest promotion of the year with 75% off the second guest’s cruise fare, up to an additional savings of up to $800 per stateroom, and up to $800 Onboard credit. Their fares to Europe this summer are particularly attractive. Celebrity is also offering in-depth 11-night sailings from Cape Liberty to Reykjavik or from Reykjavik to Boston.

Azamara, which has recently become independent from the Royal Caribbean Group, offers their immersive itineraries that truly connect its guests to the authentic heart of local life and culture in every country it visits. Their small ships are capable of docking in ports most cruise ships cannot enter. Azamara is offering 40% savings on most staterooms and up to $300 onboard credit. Gratuities, exclusive cultural events, and complimentary beverage are always included.

Windstar is offering reduced rates on its all-suite yachts to secluded ports in Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama, Morocco and Spain, Japan and Iceland.

Drake Lake or Drake Shake? We just returned from several weeks in South America which included a three-day visit to Iguazu Falls. These are an incredible series of waterfalls that can be viewed from both the Argentinian and Brazilian side. We included an optional jetboat ride into the falls and ended completely soaked which felt wonderful on a hot summer’s day. The boat ride is exhilarating! The trip also included Antarctica which means crossing the infamous Drake Passage in both directions. This passage is where the Atlantic, Pacific and Southern Seas converge and where the water can be treacherous. We experienced rather calm seas with a modicum of rocking and rolling. Friends who were on a similar cruise just a few days after us experienced 30-40 mile an hour winds with 11’ seas. We got Drake Lake; they got Drake Shake. Regardless, both Iguazu Falls and Antarctica are highly recommended to include on your bucket list if you have not already experienced these fascinating parts of the world.

American Cruise Lines is the latest company to install Starlink internet to its 2023 fleet. Starlink provides a major upgrade to high-speed internet service.
