Coming Up at Sherwood:

AMAZING  job coming together to raise money for Sherwood during our Walkathon!

Together, we raised over $22,300!!!! The kids had a fun-filled day on Friday. One kindergartener was overheard saying, "I'm living my best life right now!"
We could hardly contain their excitement as the pies started flying. Our teachers sure are troopers! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this happen! We couldn't have done it without you.
Check your emails throughout the day for updates regarding Mr. Hamilton's night on the roof. He'll be up there TONIGHT!
Box Tops!!!

I will be collecting Box Tops until the 3rd week of October.

Please send them in a ziplock baggie with your grade level/teacher name. There are white bins located in each grade level area, with a box top label on it.
I must have all box tops sent (postmarked) by October 31st.

The grade level with the most box tops will earn a special pajama day!
Keep clipping, and continue sending them in! Pay close attention to expiration dates, it is a daunting task to sort through them. (And count them!!!)

Every box top counts! Thank you for your participation!
Thursday, October 25  from 6-8pm

Sherwood PTA invites you to a free evening out of the house, playing games with your family and friends of all ages.

We have classic games, games you've never played, and GIANT sized games.  All games are quick to pick up and play, have simplified instructions, and can be played at your own pace.

New games this year include Catch Phrase, Connect 4, Giant Candyland , Giant Left Center Right, and many unique games on loan from Hobby Pop.
We'll also have an all new Family Feud game with answers supplied by current 3-6 graders.

This is a food-free event.
Hobby Pop owner, Bethaney Becker, will be available to explain new games and some games will be available for purchase.

If you have any games to share, especially giant sized games, please message Kelley at .

Please RSVP here:

We are  so excited about the success of our  Birthday Bundle initiative  that began last June! Most of us take our  birthday cake  for granted and don't realize that many kids in our area aren't able to have one.

We decided to partner with  St. Joe's Orphanage  to give their kids something sweet on their special day.

Thanks to generous donations last year we have been able to supply roughly 120 of their children with ingredients to bake their own birthday cake, and a gift card to Target or Walmart to choose a birthday gift last year - and we are hoping to help all of them celebrate AGAIN this year - but we need your help!

Please learn more about this initiative & how you can donate ingredients by clicking on the sign up below.
