As the Market team gathered to set up in the early hours last Saturday morning,
we each did our jobs to prepare for our 11 AM opening. The wind was howling
and the rain pelting down on the greenhouse roofs was deafening.
As we finished our final tasks, a meteorological miracle occurred.
The rain ended, and you arrived! Thank you for coming out in your rain gear
to shop from vendors offering vegetables, fruit, cheese, prepared foods, meat, baked goods, beverages, seafood, and this week, dry beans, condiments and alpaca products.

Mask wearing and social distancing will be required at all times throughout the market and all areas of Russell's. Our priority is your safety and that of the Russell's staff.

Our updated map shows some changes to our foot traffic flow throughout the market.
Both the indoor vendor areas (indicated in red) and the section including #5-#14
(there is no #13 spot for 1/23) are now two way.
The House 15 and Red Fire Farm greenhouses remain one way.

Charley Baer has grown a wide array of New England heirloom and specialty dry beans on many farms for decades. Now located in southern Maine, he grows a rotating cast of over 20 varieties of beans, many varieties are no longer grown commercially anywhere else. Sales have seen a huge increase since March.
