Food for Fines
November 24 - January 4
This annual food drive hosted by the Valley Libraries raises thousands of pounds of food for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. One overdue fine is removed for each can donated. Donated items benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Does not include the cost of lost materials or collection agency fees.

A Cincinnati librarian helps a group of homeless people take refuge at the public library in order to survive a brutal winter night.
