Christmas will be in full swing when everyone is invited to enjoy Breakfast at Pond View with special guest - Santa!! He and Mrs. Claus will be greeting young and old from 7:30-11:00am at Pond View Farm, 2601 Jolly Acres Road, White Hall, MD, just outside of Norrisville.

A delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served. Tickets are just $12/adults, free for those 6 years and under. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance via our Facebook page: Centre Presbyterian New Park.

Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church

ANNUAL

The Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Foundation will host this annual

service at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church,

1199 Valley Road, Quarryville (Rt. 372). 

Performers including Ruth Fisher of the CEOL NEAMH PIPE BAND will offer music and readings with a taste of Scotland, but with many traditional selections. Donald Henderson will read the Christmas story from Luke 2 in the Braid-Scots Dialect. The Hendersons sextet will perform carols including three in Gaelic. 

There will be congregational carols including Auld Lang Syne. It will be a time of reflection, joy, and thanksgiving as the meaning of Advent is felt deeply by all. Refreshments will be served following the service.

The Network of Biblical Storytellers, International will host its Annual Conference this summer with Keynote Speaker, Travis West, Associate Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament Studies at Western Theological Seminary. Travis—an author, teacher and storyteller—will offer three sessions, one on each day of the conference, exploring his theme: "Searching for Peace in Troubling Times: The Abiding Wisdom of 2 Kings 5-6." The conference also includes a variety of workshops (five per day) taught by inspirational and experienced biblical storytellers.
