The Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Foundation

will host its annual

Celtic/Traditional Advent Service

Sunday, December 3

at 3:00 PM on  

The service will be held at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church

1199 Valley Road, Quarryville (Rt 372). 

Performers including Foundation Board members, Octorara Presbyterian Church members, and students from Solanco School District will offer music and readings with a taste of Scotland, but with many traditional selections.

 It will be a time of reflection, joy, and thanksgiving as the meaning of Advent is felt deeply by all. 

Refreshments will be served following the service. 

The Schoolroom Museum at the Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Church,

1188 Valley Road, Quarryville,

will be open prior to the service, 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Our partners in El Salvador (the Calvinist Reformed Church of El Salvador) are hosting a conference in March, in partnership with PCUSA mission co-worker Joseph Russ. The purpose is to launch the "Mission and Migration Network" which was initiated through General Assembly a few years ago. Highland is planning to send a representative, and they will welcome folks from many other PCUSA churches as well.
