Keep reaching out to others using: phone, Facebook, conference calls, video calls, skype, instant messaging & more. This gives you a chance to connect with their parents, share ideas of things to do. Encourage your kids to reach out to their grandparents and other older relatives; it could be the highlight of their day. If you do not have any older relatives, consider contacting a local nursing home and ask to adopt a resident that would appreciate someone to talk to.
