A Message from PCEF's CEO Ingrid Whitley

Hi PCSD Educators!

Happy winter and February to you all! In these cold, dark winter months that can feel neverending, we hope you all know that you bring light and joy to our students every day. You spark new ideas, connections, and inspiration in your classrooms, leading to student growth and success. And we all know that educators do far more than teach - you support students’ social and emotional well-being, champion their extracurricular passions, and encourage them to pursue their dreams.

We want you to know that Park City Education Foundation is here for you - our mission is to fund your initiatives that inspire all Park City students to reach their academic and lifelong potential. We hope to see you at our second Ideas for Impact Summit & Social this March. Your peers will share ideas to foster learner-centered classrooms, and we will celebrate the incredible work you are leading in our schools. If you’re inspired to try something new in your classroom, we invite you to apply for funding up to $25,000 through our Classroom Grant Program. Applications opened on February 3 and will close on April 1.

All of us (Cynthia, Ingrid, Jen, Kara, Kerry, Lindsay, and Valeria) at PCEF are here to support you! Please reach out to us at pcef@pcschools.us if you have any questions or want to connect with our team.

With appreciation and gratitude,

Ingrid

PCEF President & CEO

📆 Excellent Educator Awards: April 25th! 🏆

The Excellent Educator Awards are set for April 25th, thanks to the generous funding by the Louis and Doilney families. Their support for this long-standing program celebrates teachers – YOUR critical role in shaping the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

Educators are nominated and voted on by peers in each building to decide the award. The reveal of the school's Excellent Educator is a surprise at each ceremony. Added bonus – every single one of PCSD's employees makes a difference for our students, and YOU ALL will be celebrated with a sweet treat at the awards.
