Welcome to the first issue of my monthly newsletter project called (H)artful. Deciding on the title took a little bit of time, because you really only get to name something once, and I wanted it to feel good! With most of the projects I take on, I lead from the heart, and put that emotion into my art. (H)artful, is the “H” in my last name + “artful", which has a couple meanings I’ll tell you about.
  • You can rest assured that each edition will be full of art; one’s that I’ve worked on, info and inside about future projects, and special exclusive offers on products. I want to highlight other artists and makers that you might not have heard about either whose work I love and respect.

  • Secondly, we’re all on this crazy journey called life, doing our best to be healthier, foster better friendships and live happier lives. I’m not perfect, and I make mistakes, but I’d like to share some of the different modalities, and learnings to health that I’ve found worked for me, and will discover the more trips around the sun I take. Some of it through art, some of it through conversations with friends, all of it through the lens of failures and successes.
Anyhow, I hope it’s something that you can look forward to each month, as it’s something myself and my team here are excited to bring you!
Thanks so much for your continued support and encouragement, and without further a due, here’s (H)artful!

What We've Been Up To
It’s been a busy year at Patrick Hunter Art & Design and we are only 3 months in.

We had the opportunity to work with the Chicago Blackhawks doing a visual land acknowledgment that is played before every home game. We love that they invited us to be part of the conversation surrounding the appropriation of Indigenous culture and some of the offensive mascots in the sports industry.

Patrick Hunter was also named one of Inniskillin's Changemakers a partnership with Startup Canada.
Keep Your Eyes Open For
Don't just keep your eyes open, but your ears too.

Our Patrick Hunter is going to be on CBC Radio One's show Q hosted by Tom Power in April. Talking about working with Blackhawks, upcoming projects and everything else.
