Easter Lives On

… if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

~2 Corinthians 5: 17-20

The truly unbelievable good news of Easter is not only that Jesus rose from the dead, but that He lives on today! And with this remarkable event, the entire world changed. We became His new creation! The curtain that separated us from God was torn; and we have direct access to His love, His forgiveness, His grace.

We are Easter people, saved by grace through faith. The miracle of new life is repeated over and over in the natural world, the cycle of life to death to new life. A seed that looks dead, planted in soil becomes a new life.

God has given the promise that if we accept Him into our life, He will live in us and through us; not just for today, but forever!

How can we keep such good news to ourselves!

The good news of Easter also lives on through us!

We are ambassadors of Jesus!

What a remarkable notion that is. What will you do with that good news?
