Tyna joined the H.O.P.E team in 2015 and worked for our friends at the Allen County SPCA for 4 years before that! Tyna is certainly dedicated to caring for our community’s animals! Not only is Tyna a hardworking staff member, but she is a caring friend to everyone at both H.O.P.E. and the Allen County SPCA!
A huge part of Tyna’s job is working with volunteers and the community. Her positivity makes her perfect for her role. “My favorite part of the job is employee morale,” says Tyna. “I get to be kind and thoughtful and I love that.” She does a wonderful job of making H.O.P.E. feel like a family and has been working hard to make a strong bond with everyone at the Allen County SPCA, as well. She makes volunteers and interns feel welcome and has a lot of fun helping with events and fundraisers. Every day she comes into the office and encourages kindness, which can be felt by anyone who walks into the clinic.
When she is not at work, Tyna enjoys spending time with her kids, walking her dog, Cookie, reading, and bartending on the weekends!
