The Charting Careers Board of Directors would like to congratulate and express our deepest gratitude to our Executive Director, Dr. Erin Snell!

Erin is the recipient of the prestigious 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award (presented by the MLK Jr. Committee of Anne Arundel County) for her exemplary work with Charting Careers, as well as her advocacy and collaborative efforts across our community. Erin works tirelessly to break the cycle of poverty and inequity in Annapolis through mentoring, college and career readiness, family partnership, and leadership for equity.

Welcome to 11 New Charting Careers Mentors!
January is MENTOR MONTH and Charting Careers is thrilled to welcome 11 new mentors to our mentoring community!
Our fabulous Mentor Coordinator, Linda Mundy, is making the mentor-mentee matches in early 2021.

Our first new match of 2021 happened on MLK Day, when we introduced a mentor to two brothers who believe some of the biggest issues to be solved right now are racism and cancer. (We agree!)

We are proud of our longitudinal mentoring model, wherein students are able to build a lasting relationship with a trusted adult who will help them achieve their goals.
Join us for a Mentor Orientation Night soon to learn more about how our mentoring community will help you feel connected and give you an additional sense of purpose and joy by becoming part of a young person's journey to their future.

* Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) male mentors and Spanish-speaking mentors are especially needed!*
