Save the date! The much-loved annual skating party is back! The Windward Skating Party is Thursday, January 26 from 6 - 9 p.m. at The Winter Village at Bryant Park. More information including pricing and registration will be available this week.

  • All-Campus Dress-Down Day on Friday, January 13. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate. Review dress-down guidelines here.



DIVISIONAL NEWS

Manhattan Lower School

  • Virtual Presentation on Wednesday, January 4: Grade 4 Learning Disabilities Unit. Grade 4 parents/guardians are invited to join Dr. Siwek, Ms. Fulco, and Ms. Schachter on Wednesday, January 4 from 6-7 p.m. for a preview of the presentation that will be delivered to fourth-grade students. While this is intended for Grade 4 families, all MLS families are welcome to attend. The language used at school to address the topic of learning disabilities will be discussed as well as talking points for speaking with your children at home. RSVP here.
  • Please Complete Dining Service Survey by Friday, January 13. Windward's dining service provider, Flik, requests that families complete this brief survey to help enhance the lunch experience. Lower School students will complete an in-person survey following the winter break.
  • Grades 1-4 Families: There will be a new process for scheduling Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) for February. Please keep an eye out for an email from Windward in the coming days. We will be asking grades 1-4 families to provide windows of availability during PTC days in order to schedule sessions.

  • Please Complete Dining Service Survey by Friday, January 13. Windward's dining service provider, Flik, requests that middle schoolers and their families complete this brief survey to help enhance the lunch experience.


Westchester Lower School
