ALL-SCHOOL NEWS &

IMPORTANT DATES

Access the school calendar here.

We are delighted to share the 2023-24 calendar for The Windward School.

Windward is one school with multiple campuses in Manhattan and in Westchester County. We are proud of our ability to serve students across many school districts in the tri-state area, and we believe our one-school approach strengthens our community and supports a positive learning environment for all.

When preparing our school calendar each year we consider several factors, again, bearing in mind what is best for the whole community. Families, faculty, staff, and community members all have varying schedules, and we do our best to understand other school schedules (both public and private) from the many areas we serve to strike a balance in our scheduling decisions.

Every year, we have families who must make difficult decisions about the lack of alignment between Windward and sibling school calendars. We hope by sharing the calendar in advance, you will have adequate time to plan the year ahead to ensure uninterrupted learning for your student. In the cases where this may not be possible, please contact your Campus Head to discuss your individual needs.
