Dear Neighbors and Friends,

We came together as a community to celebrate two powerful milestones our 110th Birthday and Juneteenth and what an unforgettable celebration it was!

To our community partners, thank you for your continuous support, partnership, and collaboration. When we work in one accord, great things happen, and they are happening right here in the Village of Broadview.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible public safety teams, the Broadview Fire Department, Police Department, and Public Works who worked tirelessly to keep us safe all weekend long. Your dedication never goes unnoticed.

We were honored to host esteemed guests, including:

  • King Togbi Nyah Tamakloe VI from Ghana, Africa
  • Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch
  • Senate Majority Leader Kimberly A. Lightford
  • Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle
  • Cook County Commissioner Tara Stamps (1st District)
  • Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar (16th District)
  • Mayor Andre Harvey (Bellwood)
  • Mayor Greg Hribal (Westchester)
  • Mayor Rory Hoskins (Maywood)
  • And Trustees from the Proviso Township

To our residents serving you is our highest calling. Everything we do is with your well-being in mind, and we are proud to serve you.

Special thanks to the Broadview Park District, Broadview Public Library, Lindop School, and our dedicated Village of Broadview board, staff, and volunteers. Your commitment is the heartbeat of our community.

And to our sponsors: your belief in Broadview fuels our growth. We are forever grateful for your unwavering commitment.

Thank you, Broadview, for standing strong, united, and proud. Here's to a future just as bold and beautiful as our past.

Love and Kindness,

Mayor Katrina Thompson
