Hello!
I can’t believe we are approaching one year since we reopened our studios after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down. I’m so inspired by our community of strong women and how we have worked together and adapted new behaviors to keep each other safe. Most importantly, I’m proud of the mutual respect we’ve shown to one another along the way. We truly are #BETTERTOGETHER
Since the beginning of the pandemic, my team and I have consistently communicated
our policies on what we are doing to keep the GRITFAM, safe and strong.
Here at GRIT, we have relied on the CDC guidelines in creating our studio operations policies and procedures. The CDC recently updated its guidelines on mask wearing and social distancing to now state that "fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks inside or outside, regardless of group size."
That said, effective JUNE 1, 2021 face masks are optional for fully vaccinated GRITFAM members, instructors and staff.
Please see below, a few additional changes that will go along with our change in mask policy for fully vaccinated GRITFAM members, instructors and staff:
- You are welcome to continue wearing your masks now and in the future.
- Effective June 1, 2021 all classes will operate at 100% capacity with assigned spots in the group fitness studios and assigned bikes in the cycling studios.
- Effective June 1, 2021, GRITFAM members will put away equipment used during class, after wiping down all items with disinfectant wipes provided.
- All studio amenities will be available for use (e.g. showers, changing rooms, co-working space, water filling stations). Sweat towels are for sale at the front desk for $4.
As always, our studios will continue to undergo regular deep cleaning and disinfection. Our outdoor classes and virtual/online classes will continue as well.
We can’t wait to see everyone's smiling faces in the studio soon! GRITFAM, you are so very loved and appreciated. Thank you for your continuous support, positive vibes and cooperation.
#BETTERTOGETHER
Much luv,
