During these uncertain times, it is highly recommended that we all stay at home to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Career Loans is pleased to announce that we will continue to provide all our virtual services including career support and counselling. In fact, because our services are entirely online, there will be absolutely no changes to our hours of operation and delivery method.

Careers Loans will continue to be at your service.

Visit our website to find out more about our services aimed at helping internationally trained newcomers in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Invest in Yourself Today
Did you know, Career Loan clients may be eligible for a micro loan to help get their foreign credentials recognized? Through our financial partner, HSBC, you may be able to get up to $15,000. Individuals may have up to four years to pay off the loan with our low interest rates (HSBC Prime + 2%). With HSBC lowering their prime rate to 2.95%, now is a great time to start investing in your career.

Please note: registering for Career Loans is not the same as applying for a loan. Upon signing up for our service, you will be connected with an expert counsellor who will assess your situation. If you desire, the counsellor will also help with a loan application.
What is Social Distancing?
With the spread of COVID-19, social distancing has become increasingly important in our daily lives. Social distancing is the practice of minimizing close contact with others. This could mean that you are making changes to your everyday routine. Here are some pointers for what it means to practice social distancing.
Career Loans is a virtual program which empowers Internationally Trained Individuals (ITI's) in Alberta and Saskatchewan to achieve their career goals, by providing free one-on-one employment and financial counselling and micro loans to eligible applicants.

Career Loans is funded by Economic and Social Development Canada (ESDC), and coordinated by The Centre for Education and Training (TCET).
