A New Casella Construction Safety Record:
200 days without a lost time injury!
June is National Safety Month, which makes it extremely fitting to announce that we hit a new safety record this month!

Friday, June 10, 2022 marked 200 days without time lost due to an injury! That's more than 6 months straight (and counting!) of every single one of you keeping in mind safety measures, looking out for each other, and being #SafeToAT!
This is an impressive milestone. We don't hit markers like this unless everyone sees safety as their responsibility. From completed equipment checklists, to Good Catch/Near Miss submissions, to consistent situational awareness, each and every one of you played a key role in this milestone.

Thank you to everyone, for keeping safety a priority, and for all you do every day!
A huge shout-out also goes out to our Safety Department. Joe Matteri and Isaiah Coltey work hard every day to coordinate trainings, visit job sites, answer questions, and create meaningful safety policies that reduce the risk of accidents and protect all of you.
June Contest
Win a Guided Tour with the Fishing Pro!
We're off to a great start with our June Good Catch / Near Miss submissions - let's keep it going!

Submit a Good Catch / Near Miss for the month of June, and you'll automatically be entered for a chance to win a fishing trip with Chris Adams for you and a guest!

The more you submit, the better your chances to win! Your name will be entered to win for each submission you make.
Chris will take the winner and their guest (guest must be age 8 or older) on his boat, share some tips and tricks that he's learned along the way, and provide a unique fishing experience to be remembered!

Every submission through June 30th will be entered. Good luck everyone!
Safety Topic: Personal Protective Equipment
A hard hat, safety glasses and hearing protection will be supplied at the start of the season, and you are asked to take reasonable care of the equipment.

If supplied PPE becomes worn or otherwise damaged, they may be turned in for a replacement pair. You may be required to pay for your own equipment if you consistently misplace or do not take reasonable care of company-supplied equipment.
Remember: PPE only works if it is available and worn! Thank you for making safety a priority every day.
Can you answer the question from this week's safety discussion?
