Starting Sunday Evening, September 6

We've heard you! Several of you have asked about modifying the current Sunday evening service times, to accommodate the shorter days and new school-year schedules. STARTING LABOR DAY WEEKEND, our Sunday evening services will each shift by a half hour earlier. Classic will remain at 9am in the Courtyard. The Spanish service will begin at 5:30pm in the Courtyard, and our English service will move to 6:30pm on the field. Please note: This time change is not in effect this weekend.

Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 6pm at Grape Day Park (near the train)

You're invited to our next night of focused prayer at Grape Day Park. Come live out the principles we've been learning during the sermon series RAISE YOUR VOICE: Speaking Vertically in a Volume-Obsessed World.

Please note the earlier start time for this off-campus gathering. We'll meet near the train and give you a list of prayer prompts to ask God to intercede on behalf of our city, neighbors, health care workers, schools, students, parents, families, community leaders, etc. We hope you can join us.
Come find encouragement during our latest session of virtual Life Groups by connecting with others in a small group. New group sign-ups begin soon for the fall session -- see our online Life Groups Finder or check our Emmanuel Faith CC App for more details. You can join a group at any time.
Are you interested in following Christ's command to be baptized? If you are, please email baptism@efcc.org. This will help us know how many people would like to be baptized.

Weekly Online Classes Set to Begin
Thursdays, starting September 3, 7-8pm

Can you make a case for the truth of Christianity? Can you tactically deal with questions about Christianity from family, friends, or co-workers? For the 12th year EFCC will offer an apologetics class to help Christians defend their faith. Steve Bruecker and Gary Zacharias will teach the next online, 12-week session covering new material. Contact Gary & Sharon Zacharias for the Zoom link (760-738-0601, or via email).
Are you on our email list? Our Junior High ministry sends out a weekly communique and we want to make sure we're not missing anyone. If you haven't heard from us recently, please email us at jh@efcc.org and we'll make sure to put you on our weekly email list. Make sure to include the student's first and last name, email address, a parent's name, and a phone number.
A Note About Upcoming Changes to the Library

The EFCC Library is still open, but is in the process of relocating to provide more space in the Worship Center foyer. CDs, DVDs, fiction books, and items in the children's and youth section are still available for checkout. The nonfiction and biographical books, however, have been packed in preparation for the move. The library, currently in the Main Office, is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, excluding holidays. Please note: We are not accepting books or donations of other materials at this time.
