Mid-Year Supply Drive for Teachers and Classrooms

The Foundation for Douglas County Schools has coordinated a mid-year supply drive for teachers during the month of January. This annual event is a great way to support teachers by helping replenish classroom supplies for the second half of the year. More than 110 teachers benefited from the event last year.

Donated items will be readied for the Teacher Grab’N’Go Events at Canvas Credit Union in Lone Tree on Tuesday, January 30 and Wednesday, January 31 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Any remaining supplies will be available for teachers to pick up at the Foundation for Douglas County Schools office at 620 Wilcox St., Castle Rock CO 80104.

For more information or questions, email tricia.strahler@dcsdk12.org

The power of a gracious community

is invaluable to our students!

The Apple Awards showcase the achievements and dedication of Douglas County School District educators and staff. All Apple Awards sponsorships offer our community the opportunity to support the great work of our teachers and the 68,000+ students that walk our halls each day.

As an Apple Awards sponsor, you’ll reach all of the district’s decision-makers gathered in one place. Your support underwrites the participation of the teachers and staff being honored for this exclusive DCSD event, and facilitates appreciation and recognition of their hard work.

The Foundation for Douglas County Schools, in conjunction with DCSD administrators invite you to join us on July 22 at the Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course in Castle Rock. The goal of the annual Perseverance Golf Tournament is to raise funds for the Perseverance Scholarship Fund* for DC graduates.

* Recipients of these scholarships have overcome great obstacles during their school years and are determined to further their education after high school. Your participation will help fund this year's scholarships that will be presented to the graduating seniors at a special ceremony in May 2025.
