From the President
Last week the Chamber hosted a Candidate School as part of the Leadership Lewisville program. The class learned the process of how to run for elected office.

A special treat was having the mayors from Highland Village and Lewisville as well as a State Representative and the Lewisville ISD school board president present to share their knowledge and why they chose to serve the community.

Thank you Lannie Noble, Charlotte Wilcox, Rudy Durham, Ron Simmons, and Trisha Sheffield for helping to educate our future community leaders. A special thanks to the City of Lewisville for providing the space and to Kroger for sponsoring food and drinks for the day.

Be sure to stay in touch with all things Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce by liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, or watching our videos on YouTube.
