Boothbay Region Health Center Needs YOUR
Help to meet $100K Challenge by Dec. 15th
Your community-owned Health Center has been awarded a matching grant of up to $100,000 for every donation over $100 received by December 15th. We need your help! If we raise $2,000, our donor will match $2,000. If we raise $40,000, he'll match $40,000. But if we can raise $100,000, he'll match it! That's an incredible opportunity we don't want to waste.

Please help us maximize this gift. Open your checkbook and send us a check for as much as you can to help us reach this magnificent goal. We're a 501(c)(3), so your contribution is tax-deductible.
Come by to drop off your check (we're in the Meadow Mall next to Family Dollar), mail it in (BRHC, 185 Townsend Ave., Suite R, BBH 04538)

Serving Your Employees & Customers
We're asking for your help today. We've been here in the Meadow Mall seven days/week this entire year for your staff, and your customers--whenever they had health issues. Many summer workers biked over or used our free transportation bring them over.

Your staff and employees came to us because we're inexpensive, convenient, and we provide excellent primary care. Many part-time and summer workers appreciate the fact that we offer 30% discounts for people without health insurance who pay at the time of service.

Even year-round residents, whose regular doctors are off-peninsula, love the convenience of coming to us for an urgent need. We accept their insurance, and we send their visit notes to their regular doctors after each visit. So they don't have to lose several hours driving off peninsula to deal with a sore throat or a tick bite.
Serving Our Summer Visitors
Health Coordinator Mirkka Lyons, with Family Nurse
Practitioners Becky Traquair and Brett Auclaire, the team that caught a rare tropical disease.
Many summer visitors also appreciated our attention to detail, our team approach, and our dogged persistence to get the correct diagnosis the first time. One such patient, Michelle Miller, wrote: "Thank you, Thank you! Here on vacation from Minnesota... needed some urgent care. 'Wonderful People!' Thank you!"

Another first-time patient walked in with what turned out to be a hard-to-diagnose tropical disease, but we got it right, provided treatment and peace of mind to the anxious patient, and won kudo's from the Center for Disease Control for calling it correctly. "We're impressed that a small rural Health Center correctly diagnosed the first case of Chikungunya in the US in 2018," the CDC emailed us in March.
Now you have the opportunity to help us reach our donor's goal of $100,000 by Dec. 15th so we can continue to provide excellent LOCAL health care.
