As we prepare for our Friends of Scouting Dinner this April, we’re looking to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible stories that bring Scouting’s mission to life. We’d love your help identifying them.
We are seeking HOVC Scout Stories that embody the Scout Oath and Law and show the real impact of Scouting in our communities. Past features have included outstanding Eagle Scout projects, Scouts accepted into prestigious schools or programs, youth who stepped up as leaders in their communities or on a state or national level, life-saving actions, and powerful stories of Scouts whose lives were positively changed through Scouting opportunities.
If you know a Scout whose journey deserves to be celebrated, please share their story with us. We’re looking for authentic moments that reflect character, leadership, and service.
📩 Email submissions to: issac.otero@scouting.org
🗓️ Submissions deadline: February 15th
✔️ Criteria: Stories must be from 2024 to present
✏️ Email submissions need to include the Scout's name, age, unit type and #, and a summary of their story
Thank you for helping us showcase the very best of Scouting and for the work you do every day to support our youth. We can’t wait to celebrate these Scout Stories together this spring!
Yours in Scouting,
Issac Otero
