Dear Victory Families,
As Superintendent of Victory Christian Schools, I am tremendously blessed by God to be a part of the formulation of our mission and the determination of the focus on our vision.
At the same time, I am humbled by the fact that parents have chosen to partner with us in the education and formation of their children. This is a responsibility that neither I nor faculty and staff at Victory take lightly.
It is a work that can only be done through the grace of God. We need His favor and enablement. Amazingly, God uses and works through His children to bestow grace upon others.
As with any private, faith based educational institution, VCS not only revels in its past rewarding ministry, but also prayerfully considers the challenges of the present. Historically, tuition has largely carried the burden to sustain the ministry of VCS. However, this year, we have experienced an unforeseen loss of nearly 20 students, which has tremendously impacted our general and reserve funds. It is with this challenge, I come to you with a request for you to allow God to use you in a unique way to “grace” Victory.
My personal goal is to make Victory a place that anyone would feel honored to have a student attend in the same way that I feel honored to lead the school. I need your help to reach that goal.
At the bottom of this letter you will see a "click to donate button", which will direct you to our website, where you may make a secure contribution today. Our theme is “Strengthen Their Hands” (Ezra 1:6). Parents make personal sacrifices to send their children to VCS. However, the reality is that it takes more than tuition for us to meet our budget and to do things above and beyond the budget. Our faculty and staff are the “hands” of the school.
Many of you have the ability to make a contribution that will greatly strengthen the “hands” of the school. The Victory Annual Fund is critical to the success of our school and to our ability to hold tuition charges as low as possible.
My request in this letter is that you begin to pray about your gift to the Victory Annual Fund. I consider this to be part of the stewardship of our possessions for which we have been given clear Biblical guidance. As we seek to apply Biblical guidance in any matter, we should pray. As we pray, we should ask God to reveal what we should give.Thank you for partnering with us. We are trusting the Lord together for His provision. Strengthen our hands.
