Dear Marine families,

The mission of MarineParents.com, Inc., is to provide support, information, and services to Marines and their family members, and create opportunities for the public to support our troops and veterans through the organization's outreach programs.

This month we are helping Larry Diggs, a 94 year old World War II Marine combat veteran. With the help of over 120 volunteers, and your generous donations, we will be taking on an extreme restoration project at Mr. Diggs' home. Learn more in our first article.

Also in this newsletter: purchase a Marine Corps Marathon bib, learn about the stages of your Marine's career in the Corps, meet our featured TMP participant and volunteer, and read about our Warrior Support Team.

Thank you for supporting our troops!

God bless and Semper Fi!
We Still Need Your Help

THANK YOU to all that have donated so far.  We have raised $8,400 of our $15,000 goal.  Thank you so much for supporting this WWII Marine Combat Veteran.

It's not too late to help! Donate NOW.

Marine Corps Marathon Bibs

This year, 2018, the 43rd Marine Corps Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018. As a Marine Corps charity partner, Team Marine Parents™ has registered 50 bibs for the October 28th race.

Stages of your Marine's Career

The mission of MarineParents.com is to provide support, information, and services to recruit and Marine family members and troops over the course of the life-cycle of your recruit or Marine's career in the Corps.

This sentiment is reflected in our Marine Corps Career icon. From the time your future-Marine is a poolee, through boot camp, the school of infantry and military occupational schooling, permanent duty stations and deployments, and then after your Marine's time in the Corps or if he or she is recovering from wounds or injuries sustained while serving, we have information for every step of the journey.

TMP Participant
Erika Devenney

This is Erika's second year running in support of Team Marine Parents. She loves running to support Marines and their families. This year she'll be running in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and the Rock and Roll San Antonio Half Marathon.

Featured Volunteer
Nikki Chuml

Nikki is a Facebook volunteer in the Golf Company, San Diego group. Nikki chose to become a volunteer for Marineparents.com so that she can help others get through the process of their children leaving the nest to serve their Country. She feels she would not have been able to get through boot camp and SOI without the wonderful groups and the MarineParents.com Facebook volunteers.

Volunteers visit Airman at Walter Reed Medical Facility

While serving their bi-monthly dinner to Warriors, Warrior Support Team Volunteers Bob and Rene paid a visit to Airman Dennis and his mother Donna on Sunday. Bob and Rene brought plenty of food and cheer to this mother and son. Dennis, a cancer survivor, will undergo a major surgery this week. God Bless and Semper Fi.
