We stood—and still stand–with Ukraine.

As Russia’s war against Ukraine began, our citizens sought to channel outrage into action. As part of the Hillsboro Preservation Foundation mission to help “neighbors in need,” we extended the reach of local compassion to our global neighbors in their most dark and uncertain hours.

Partnering with the Town of Hillsboro, the Hillsboro Preservation Foundation created an avenue for action, the April 2nd UkraineAid concert and art auction. Tapping the generosity of several performers, a sound production team and artists from around the globe, the free day-long festival was attended by some 700 people from across the region, Ukranian Embassy officials and local, state and federal office holders.

This amazing event, raised $20,000 for on-the-ground relief efforts that went directly to feed the people in Ukraine.

On this eighth day of giving, donate to the Hillsboro Preservation Foundation so we will be prepared to help others in need.
