Jerry Grell (on right), a longtime friend of NTM, recently reached out for our assistance. Busy as ever in "retirement", Jerry volunteers in the Cambridge-Isanti School Districts, working with high school students in technical vocational programs. He mentioned that the classrooms could benefit from upgraded tools and asked Todd Robyn, NTM Boring Bar Manager, if NTM could donate some in-stock Boring Bars and inserts for the students to use and practice with. NTM is a proud supporter of the manufacturing trades and is committed to encouraging students to pursue careers in skilled trades.
At NTM, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting those around us. Whether through volunteering, donations, or simply lending a helping hand, there are many ways to make a positive impact. We urge our fellow manufacturers and tooling shops to connect with their local school districts to find out what these vocational classes need to help students and educators succeed. By doing so, we all support the next generation of manufacturers.
We encourage you to find a cause you’re passionate about and make a difference. Together, we can build stronger, more connected communities.
