They have been around for 40 years and are considered to be one of the most prestigious awards with a team of judges now consisting of more than 200 professionals.

“What’s Your Story?” visited with typewriter collector, Mark Petersen of Christiansburg who has nearly 200 vintage and historical typewriters. In fact, he uses many of the typewriters on a daily basis preferring them over computers and smartphones as a form of communication.

WOOD STRIP CANOE MAKER

"Creative Virginia" visited with Jim Dodd, a wood strip canoe maker living in Botetourt County. His canoes are considered by many to be works of art and a true testament to well crafted pieces that not only belong in a gallery but more appropriately on the water.

Carol Jennings, Co-producer and Dr. Rose Martin, Co-producer and Host for “Write Around The Corner” won in the first season of Blue Ridge PBS' LOCAL program!  

"Write Around the Corner" won an Award of Distinction in the 2018 Videographer Awards - Television Production/Talk Show category for the David Baldacci episode. 

The Videographer Awards international awards competition recognizes outstanding achievement in video and digital production skills.
