In this issue, we introduce the cast and creative team for the special presentation of Encounters at the “Edge of the Woods” , we remind you it's your last chance to submit to audition for Portia's Julius Caesar , we tell students about an exciting employment opportunity and check out what our alumni is doing for SummerWorks .

Meet the Encounters at the "Edge of the Woods" Cast and Creative

The cast and creative team for Encounters at the “Edge of the Woods” is now official.

To kick off Hart House Theatre’s 100th Anniversary season and as a special presentation, this project will explore the restor(y)ation of treaty relationships using Indigenous practices of story weaving through deep connections to the land. Led by Indigenous educator and artist Jill Carter , the piece will include performers and creators from all over the city who will use their personal stories and experiences to compose Encounters at the “Edge of the Woods” .

Those contacted for auditions will be seen the week beginning August 11, with callbacks taking place the week of August 26. Only those contacted for an audition will be seen.

Front of House duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: ushering, ticket scanning, selling concessions and distributing assistive listening devices, customer service, audience safety, and other duties as required.
