Attorney General Josh Stein 


Josh Stein was sworn in for his first term

as North Carolina’s 50th Attorney General in 2017 and his second term in 2021. As Attorney General, he is focused on protecting North Carolina families from crime and consumer fraud. His keynote session at the conference will focus on improving North Carolina's Criminal Justice System. 

Breakout Session Spotlight: Perspectives from the Bench- A Judges Panel

Members of the judiciary from across the state will provide practical instruction and valuable insights regarding criminal and civil domestic violence trials. Attendees will learn best practice tips for domestic violence court and hear directly from the judges regarding what is influential and effective at a trial. Judges will share their viewpoint from the bench and provide guidance as to their own personal preferences and suggestions for best practices and professionalism in the courtroom.

Erica Bryant is an Emmy award-winning journalist and co-anchor of Channel 9 Eyewitness News in Charlotte, NC. During her keynote session, she will share her journey as a survivor and inspire attendees.
