OBAMA PORTRAITS

The iconic portraits of President Barack Obama by Kehinde Wiley and First Lady Michelle Obama by Amy Sherald will be on view at the BROOKLYN MUSEUM until October 24. After making stops in Chicago and Los Angeles, they will continue on to Atlanta and Houston before returning to their permanent home at the Smithsonian American Portrait Gallery. The Obama Portraits Tour will reach millions who would not otherwise have the opportunity to see them in Washington, D.C.

CHRISTIAN DIOR:
DESIGNER OF DREAMS

This exhibit recently opened at the BROOKLYN MUSEUM showcasing over two hundred haute couture garments as well as photographs, videos, sketches accessories and more. The exhibit pays homage to the history and legacy of the HOUSE OF DIOR and its many sources of inspiration such as flowers and nature to classical and contemporary art. Timed entry is required for this extraordinary exhibition and the cost is $16 which also includes entrance into the rest of the museum.

The BROOKLYN MUSEUM requires timed tickets in advance for entry ($10 for seniors) and there is an additional charge (total $16) and entry time required for the DIOR exhibition. Timed entry is not required for the OBAMA PORTRAITS. Expected arrival time at the BROOKLYN MUSEUM is Noon. Do not hesitate to call upon me if you need assistance in obtaining your timed entry.

Credit may be applied from any trip cancelled by EXCURSIONS FROM THE SQUARE in 2020. All sales are final. Dates may not be changed. The price includes round trip transportation from CITY LINE AVENUE or RITTENHOUSE SQUARE. Drop off and pick-up will be at the BROOKLYN MUSEUM. There are two options for lunch in the BROOKLYN MUSEUM. In addition, there are interesting food trucks on Eastern Parkway in front of the building and many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood nearby.

OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES
Space will be limited to 38 passengers on a 52 passenger coach. Until further notice, masks will still be required at all times while on the motor coach. It will be necessary to follow protocols of the BROOKLYN MUSEUM. For your protection and that of your fellow travelers, all tour members must show proof that they have been fully vaccinated.
