West End Wing Off and Cornhole Tournament

Hosted by the West End Committee

May 6th | West End Fair Grounds

The 2nd Annual West End Wing-Off & Cornhole Tournament is back on May 6th from 11:00 to 3:00pm.

This family oriented event will feature local vendors, businesses and organizations for you to shop and interact with. In addition, we will have a cornhole tournament and a wing-off competition!

2023 Bizzy Nominations are Now Open

This is a great opportunity to showcase your business to fellow Chamber members AND the community through this televised live event in September. Chamber members are encouraged to nominate their business into their selective Bizzy Awards Categories, businesses are welcome and encouraged to enter multiple categories.

2023 Scholarships are Now Open

The Pocono Chamber Women in Business Scholarships recognize Monroe County female professionals who have demonstrated their dedication to empowering the leaders of our community and their commitment to bettering our community.

The scholarship assists them in the pursuit of continuing their education and their desire to assist other women in reaching their full leadership potential after they finish continuing their education.

The WIB Council has created two scholarship opportunities for Monroe County’s female leaders; one for a high school student in the pursuit of higher education and one for a Monroe County professional continuing their education. A full outline of general criteria and application instructions can be found on the Pocono Chamber's official website here. Deadline for 2023 applications: August 15th!

*Now open to any Monroe County female pursuing higher education!*

Daymond John is Coming to the Poconos

The Pocono Chamber of Commerce and the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau are excited to bring top-selling author and television star Daymond John to Kalahari Resorts & Conventions on October 19 for Swimming with the Peoples Shark!

As a dynamic business speaker with over twenty years of hands-on proven business experience, Daymond shares the strategies that continue to bring him financial success, such as establishing the right mindset and following a few fundamental principles, which he calls his five “S.H.A.R.K points.”

NEW Backing Small Businesses Grant Opportunity from AMEX – In 2021, American Express and Main Street America created the Backing Small Businesses* grant program to help economically vulnerable small business owners recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and grow their businesses. In its first year, the program provided $1.65 million in grants to more than 300 small business owners across the country. Now in its second year, the program will increase the number of grants awarded and total funding to more than $2.3 million to further support small business owners in building their economic vitality and fostering a thriving community. On March 20, 2023, applications will open for 350 small business grants of $5,000 to eligible businesses in the U.S. and territories.
