Dear Charting Careers Friends and Family,
As we approach a Thanksgiving that will likely look very different this year, there is still so much to be grateful for. I am especially thankful for our Charting Careers community, including our scholars and their families, our mentors, tutors, donors, supporters, partners, staff, and board. I feel incredibly fortunate every day to work with such a dedicated group of people on such a critical mission-- to break the cycle of poverty and inequity in Annapolis through goal-focused mentoring, life-changing experiences, and targeted partnerships so youth facing adversity chart their own course to fulfilling lives and careers.
Whether it's emotional support from one of our mentors or staff, connection to a tutor, help overcoming technology barriers, access to new outdoor learning spaces, or referral to a much-needed resource, our partnerships, volunteers, and staff are creating tangible impacts on people's lives. Together, we are also changing the manner in which our community organizes itself to address inequities.
As Giving Tuesday (December 1st!) and the holidays approach, please keep Charting Careers in mind. Our programs and anti-racism and social justice work cannot continue without the generous support of people like you!
With Gratitude,
Erin
