We held our Annual Awards Luncheon on May 21, 2019 and it was definitely a great time! We celebrated various individuals and businesses for their accomplishments and efforts in keeping Royse City the great place it is. We presented 10 awards this year and introduced our newest award to the Non-Profit of the Year which was First United Methodist Church, Royse City. There was laughter, joy and bittersweet moments as we said our farewell to our President of 12 years Ms. Julia Bryant. Mary Johnson of Housewarmers gave a heartfelt trip down memory lane with her experience in meeting and getting to know Julia over the last 12 years. For those who were not able to attend please view our tribute video to Julia on the link below:  need link
A Message from Vanessa:
I have been with the Chamber since August 2017. I started as an Administrative Assistant and have been promoted to your Chief Financial Operating Officer. I am so grateful for this continued opportunity to serve my community. When I moved back to Texas from Maui, my Husband and I wanted to raise our son in a smaller town where everyone helped each other out and community involvement was a must. I came to the Royse City Chamber after managing a resale store for a Domestic Violence non-profit and prior to that a sales position at Tiffany and Co. I love working for the Royse City Chamber, not only have I met some wonderful people in our city but in the area surrounding us. I anticipate being more involved in Royse City, watching the rapid growth, and serving you, our business owners and liaisons in seeing where our future is headed together! As James Cash Penney once said: “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.” I look forward to watching your businesses grow and prosper and how I can be of service to you in any capacity of working together. With a new year beginning for us here we have some exciting things going to be added to enhance your partnership with the Royse City Chamber so keep your eye out for those announcements! Please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns at any time.

A Message from Ashlee:
I met my husband, Shane Burke, in 2005 and we have one amazing child, Braiden aka "B" who is 9. It was important to us that we found a place that was safe and community driven to put down roots and Royse City ended up being the perfect town for our family.
Recently joining the Royse City Chamber as the Chief Membership and Sustainability Officer has been such a blessing. When the Chamber announced that there was a new position available, I knew it was the perfect role for me. Being granted the opportunity to work for the Chamber is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Advocating for businesses has always been a passion of mine and since moving to Royse City I have jumped at any opportunity to help local businesses grow. As you can imagine it was a no brainer to say yes when I was asked to join the Royse City Chamber Board a few years ago. Over the past two years I have enjoyed becoming more involved in our town and I have loved getting to know the people and businesses in the area.
I am excited to be a part of the Chamber team as we venture into the next chapter.
I am here to help you in any way I can so please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
