STAYING STRONG - IMPORTANT LINKS
Helping Businesses stay Strong: The EDH Chamber is working hard to help weather this COVID storm.
Important Links: The links below are the most up-to-date and comprehensive resources we've found. Please feel free to reach out at chamber@eldoradohillschamber.org if there is anything at all we can do to help.
UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE & BENEFITS
Big Picture Changes to UI & Benefits: The CARES Act made sweeping changes and added new benefits to the program, so during the near-term the state Employment Development Department (EDD) will interpret these changes and implement them to provide the new benefits.
SMALL BIZ LOANS FORGIVEN
Small Business Paycheck Protection Program: A new lending program that allows businesses to borrow enough to cover monthly payroll costs for businesses for up to 2.5 months. If used for payroll, mortgage interest or other qualified expenses, these loans will be forgiven as long as the employer continues to employ its workers or rehires them when they reopen for business.
SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS FUND
El Dorado Hills Chamber, El Dorado County Chamber, and the El Dorado Community Foundation Fund: The intent of the fund is to support western slope small businesses that have been directly impacted by the Coronavirus. All contributions will be held and distributed by the El Dorado Community Foundation and are 100% tax deductible. Criteria and applications for the fund will be available soon for all of our western slope small businesses .
LOCAL GRANTS FOR NON-PROFITS
The Coronavirus Relief Fund (CVRF) has been set up to provide financial support for basic human needs to residents on the western slope of El Dorado County. The application can be completed by nonprofits and agencies as well as individual residents.
REGIONAL GRANTS FOR NON-PROFITS
Sacramento Region Disaster Relief Fund will provide one-time rapid response grants to nonprofit organizations in the four-county Sacramento region (El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo) working to address the immediate needs of vulnerable populations and communities impacted by the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
