New Year Brings Change

Each year brings change and time for new beginnings. As many of you may have heard, Zerns Farmers Market, a 95 year old community icon has been put up for sale.
We are looking for a buyer and new owner who will carry on a 95 year old tradition of family friendly shopping for the community. Our business offers fair prices, features everything from fresh produce to hand crafted items made by our vendors and vintage collectibles. WE HAVE NOT CLOSED AND WILL REMAIN OPEN AS USUAL.We want to assure you that we are open for business! Please come and visit us and support your favorite vendors.
When you shop at Zerns you are supporting local and small business owners and hardworking families who have been at Zerns for decades and generations! We are open every weekend rain or shine!

What actually IS a Zernie, you ask? The answer is a mix of old timer shoppers, teeny-boppers who still own felt poodle skirts, thirty year barbershop customers, Zerns Family Pizza lovers, funnel cake foodies, do it yourself crafters, antique and cast iron enthusiasts and guiltless bargain hunters, gamers, and skateboard fans. Zernie if you remember Nancy Egolf's rare Bakelite bracelets, or the smell of Zerns French fries lingering from your childhood.

Zernie if you met your spouse at Zerns or remember holding the hand of your grantparent and walking through the aisles of peanut shells. You're a
Zernie if you travel for something specific like one couple who met at Zerns thirty years ago, toted 30 pounds of nails from Lou's Surplus to their new home in Mesa, Arizona.

Kathy Baldwin is famous for a popular pizza is called buffalo chicken pizza, shredded chicken with spicy buffalo sauce costs $2.50 a slice. Also popular is Kathy's Stromboli a folded pizza, generous portion plate-sized. Choose from a vegetarian Stromboli or cheese steak Stromboli.

s a long time vendor who sells self defense items, knives and swords, paintballs and slings. Visit B&B Self Defense at Stand 241, Door 12.
Our famous
Hofbrau stand run by JoAnna Weiser sells homemade soups, salads, breakfast items and sandwiches. Stand 213, reached through Doors 13 and 5.
Lill's Goodies, run by great baker Jesse Stoltzfuz has new treats flying off the grill. Pretzel dough wraps around a secret recipe of chunks of chicken, bacon and cheese topped with ranch dressing. Just $3.75 at Stand 112, located near door 1.
Great Home and Garden décor and whimsical items are sold by Elver Venezuela at Stand 12.
We saved the best for last...
And our arguably
longest running vendor (sixty years plus!) is--
Poppy's Peanuts at Door 13 still offers the same premium peanuts his grandfather sold sixty years ago! Follow your nose for fresh roasted peanuts toasted the old fashion way.
