Founders' Award

Family Promise of Morris County is thrilled to be the recipient of a 2023 Founders' Award from Sax LLP! Each year, the accounting firm awards funds to nonprofits to achieve their goals, and this year's theme was Accessibility.

Our Shelter Program provides options for those with accessibility needs, including elevators, low beds, and private bathrooms. The Navigating Hope outreach van, in partnership with Morris County, provides access to services by bringing the services to those who may be unable to visit them due to lack of transportation or other obstacles.

The Founders' Award funds will help us continue our work to increase accessibility for safe and stable housing in all of our programs for those facing homelessness in Morris County.

Thank you to Sax for supporting our community through this impactful grant award!

Steve Hammond Homebound Hustle

Thank you to all the runners, walkers, teams, volunteers, and sponsors who made our third annual Steve Hammond Homebound Hustle 5K & 1-Mile Walk a big success! The community event provided fun, exercise, fresh air, and community spirit, while supporting those experiencing homelessness in Morris County. We are incredibly grateful for your dedication and your participation in our largest turnout of approximately 300 participants!

A special thank-you to County Commissioner John Krickus for his support, Greenberg Traurig, our founding presenting sponsor, and PBF Energy, presenting sponsor.
