GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER.
We are United for the Holidays!

United Way of North Central Florida is looking for toys, sponsors and volunteers for the second annual United for the Holidays toy drive benefiting children ages 0 to 18 years old. This year our goal is to serve at least 600 children.

Ways to help:
  • Donate a new, unwrapped, nonviolent toy
  • Volunteer to sort and pack toys
  • Host a toy drive at your business

Toys will be donated to children at the following agencies: Catholic Charities, Episcopal Children's Services, UF Healthy Families, Micanopy Tutoring, Family Promise of Gainesville, Northwood Villas Community Center, Child Advocacy Center, Institute for Workforce Innovation, Reichert House, Kanapaha Middle School, Howard Bishop Middle School and Metcalfe Elementary School.

Toys can be dropped off at the United Way office or taken to any of the three public collection sites at High Springs Masonic Lodge #137, UF Mover Guys (Small Business Partner!) and The Village at Gainesville.

Daughtry Tree Service
There's no tree too tall, we do them all!! Daughtry Tree Service recycles 100 percent of the trees and limbs they remove. With over 27 years of experience, even your toughest tree, stump or debris removals are no match for their team and equipment.

Owner, Emery Daughtry believes in lending a helping hand and United Way helps him accomplish that in a meaningful way.

"If a neighbor needs food, I know I can call United Way and they'll tell me how to get them food. And more importantly, I know they are not just helping out my neighbor, they are helping out hundreds of families in our local area. I may be able to help out my neighbor, and I will and do, but I know I can't feed hundreds of families the way United Way does. By supporting United Way, I help my neighbor and hundreds of others who I would not be able to do so for otherwise."
