DINNER @ NOON IS BACK!

Carver Center is happy to announce that we are bringing back our very popular, Dinner @ Noon program on Saturdays, starting April 2. Join us for a hot lunch and some great conversation. First come, first served for 40 people.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS

Four of our friends from New England Land Trust Company recently joined us in our Carver Market on one of our busiest indoor market days. Thank you for helping us!

Now that our Carver Market has reopened indoors, we are looking for volunteers, 16+ to help with our Market operations Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30 - 3:00, 3:00 - 5:00 and Thursdays from 12:30 - 3:00pm (must be able to lift 30 lbs.)

OUR FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM DELIVERS

In the month of February, we prepared
8,078 snuppers (snacks and suppers) to children in after school programs and the teens who visit our Teen Center. In addition, 795 snacks were prepared for the students participating in the Port Chester Middle School after school program and for the teens here at Carver.

All totaled, that's 8,873 snacks and snuppers!

HERE'S WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN OUR TEEN CENTER

Our first Career Exploration Night was a great success and well attended by our teens. Take a look at our Spring Schedule below!

March 21 - Financial Literacy Workshop, 4:30-6:00pm - An educational workshop where you will learn the use of various financial skills and terms.
March 28 - Arts & Vocations, 6:00 - 8:00pm
April 5 - NAMI, Ending the Silence,
4:30pm - Learn the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps you can take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms. Let's break the stigma!
April 25 - Health Care & Science, 6:00-8:00pm

May 16 - Law Enforcement, 6:00-8:00pm

MARCH MADNESS IS BACK!

Our friends, Gavin Roy and Zach Baruch, Blind Brook High School Juniors are back in 2022. Last year, their March Madness GoFundMe campaign, raised $1000 for Carver!
