The Online Record Book (ORB) is a web platform that allows participants to record their activities and submit their Awards. It also allows Award Leaders to monitor participants’ progress and approve submitted Awards.
CISV Calgary (Children's International Summer Villages) is looking for leaders 21 or older to lead groups of kids (11-16 years of age) to summer camps around the world. Camps run from 3-6 weeks in length. The Calgary chapter is hosting a camp for 11 year olds from July 5 - August 1, 2019 and requires volunteer staff for this program. The theme for CISV programs in 2019 is "Conflict and Resolution". All expenses are paid for volunteer staff and leaders (training, airfare, food, boarding).

Field Leader Hiking Courses offered this Fall in Edmonton and Calgary!

Youth participating under 18 can receive a Junior Field Leader Certification, which will be graduated to a full Certification once they turn 18
Employment Skills Workshop
On November 26th Youth Central will be hosting an Employment Skills Workshop, facilitated by the City of Calgary's Youth Employment Centre. This event is open to all youth between the ages of 12-18 (youth not registered with Youth Central will need to bring a signed parental consent form: ).
What we will cover:
- Learn about Youth Central and how you can get involved in your community,
- Learn how to write a proper resume and cover letter writing
- Hear about job search strategies
- Understand networking
- Dive into applicant tracking systems
- Practice some interview preparation
- Explore a neat opportunity to get recognized through the Duke of Edinburgh Award

The ETOL Film night is an exciting showcase of student and alumni created visual media including film and photos of adventure wilderness based activities and outdoor education. This event is created and hosted by the students of ETOL (Ecotourism & Outdoor Leadership) Program at MRU and the ETOL Alumni Chapter.
