Prepare for Winter Power Outages
Concerned about power outages this winter? Whole house batteries to the rescue! A whole house battery is an energy backup system that powers your home during a grid failure. It stores energy from your grid or solar panels and deploys it where energy is needed when the grid is down. New products from Enphase are making the prices of whole house battery backup systems much more competitive.**
Plan now for your energy system installation in early 2025. We install many brands of battery systems as well as generators (sometimes both at one residence) to provide safety, reliability and electrical independence for you!

**Not all products are available in Texas... coming soon.

Included in Connected Technology's culture is the desire to contribute where we can to help our community. We encourage you to donate to an organization of your choice to give back. Below are some local charities that would be grateful for some help. | |
|
Community Caring Center provides a range of services including food, clothing, and small household goods.
We are 100% reliant on donations from individuals in the local community.
Next to Community Caring Center, we operate The Porch Resale Shoppe which is also open to the general public. We sell all kinds of merchandise, including jewelry, household décor, cookware, vintage, toys, and small appliances. Not all of the items are secondhand; people donate new and “lightly used” merchandise as well. All money raised from the sale of goods is used to purchase more food for our food pantry, support our hygiene product program, and maintain our facilities.

Four Paws One Heart
helps reunite lost and found pets, rehome animals to keep them out of overcrowded shelters and rescues abandoned animals.
Your generous donations help us purchase supplies and equipment needed to feed, house and care for those animals we foster. Our goal, of course, is to find their owners or another forever home. Due to community donations, we were able to purchase a scanner which allows us to scan animals' chips in the field and return them to their homes without them ever having to come to our facility.
We, and those lucky pets we help find their way back home, are most appreciative.

Is Your Electric
Vehicle Charged?
Start each day with a full charge. Investing in an EV charger will save you time and give you a tax credit this year! Thinking of adding a second EV to your home? Let's talk about electric load and needing a second charger.
| |
|
Main Electrical Panel
If tripping breakers are a common occurrence, your electrical panel could be damaged. Outdated or overwhelmed electrical panels are the main cause of electrical fires. Your panel may also need to be upgraded to install an EV charger. But no worries, we can help.
