Dear Colleagues:
As the trial of Derek Chauvin comes to a close, we continue to process and respond to the death of George Floyd and the police killings of so many other unarmed Black Americans. Understanding the psychological and physical toll that anti-Blackness, racial violence and systemic racism has on our Queensborough community, particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), we encourage everyone in our community to access, share and use the resources below.
For additional content on managing conversations about race, talking with children about racism, recovering from racial trauma, and how to support greater equity in society, please visit the Racial Equity and Trial Progress features within the News For You section on the CUNY Work/Life program at (Company Code: CUNY). Remember that CCA@YourService can also be reached confidentially at 800-833-8707. Counsellors are standing by 24/7 for you and your family members. Please remember that the  The QCC Counseling Center remains available for our students.
